Frank H. Bustamante

Frank H. Bustamante was born in Roswell, New Mexico on September 5, 1922 to the late Conception and Jose Bustamante.
Frank departed this earth at the age of 93 on October 18, 2015 of natural causes surrounded by his loved ones. Frank was preceded in death by all of his brothers, Elo Bustamante, Beto Bustamante, Ben Bustamante, Joe Bustamante and one sister, Amelia Vega. Frank was a member of The Ameican Legion and Union Mutualista De San Jose for many years. Frank was a long time parishioner of Holy Family Church in Wilmington, CA. PFC Frank Bustamante was in the United States Army Air Force and served in World War II in the South Pacific as part of the 1876th Engineer Aviation Battalion building Aircraft runways in the Jungles. Frank had many jobs throughout his lifetime, from picking peaches to working in ship yards, he used to say he did just about everything, He finally retired from W.F. McPheeters as a Body and Fender man in Long Beach. Frank was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Celia Bustamante on August 30, 1942, in this union 5 children were born.
Delia Gonzales deceased (John), Frank Bustamante Jr. deceased (Grace), Robert Bustamante, Richard Bustamante (Juan) and Amelia Sabedra (Tim). Grandchildren, Elia, Francisca, Lisa, Jose, Frankie, Monica, Victor and Daniel, Shannon, Cheyenne, Shana and Joshua. Great grandchildren, Amanda, Noah, Timothy, Elisha, Elizabeth, Olivia, Matthew, Joseph II, Robert, Chris, Annette, Jennifer, Jessica R., Jessenia, Victor Jr., Moses, Adrian and Jacob. Great great-grandchildren, Joseph III, Lilly, Mariah and Nathan. His God granddaughter, Jessica.
Funeral Services: Oct. 29th, Viewing from 5pm to 9pm with the Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel McNerneys Mortuary in Wilmington, Ca. Funeral Mass will take place at 10am on Oct, 30th at Holy Family Church in Wilmington, Ca. Franks final resting place will be at Riverside National Cemetery. A Celebration of Frank's life will take place at the home of his daughter on Oct 30th at 5:30pm. Please sign the guest book at www.presstelegram.com/obits.
