Henry Camou, a long-time South Bay resident and graduate from Torrance High School passed away on March 15, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Bobbie; his 5 children, Katherine Wagner, Esther (Larry) Sorensen, Michael (Dixie) Camou, Arthur Camou, Victor (Bridgeen) Camou; grandchildren, Jason, Michael Brian, Michael Jr., Tony, Danielle, Mathew, Joshua, Samuel and Nicole; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Olga and Virginia; and brothers, George and Richard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends who will also miss him. He was preceded in death by grandchild, Christopher; brothers, Clem and Charlie. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Europe. He stayed in the Army reserves until his honorable discharge as 1st Sgt in 1969. He retired from Cast-Rite as a Maintenance Mechanic in 1991. He was the best husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend anyone could ask for. He will always be in our hearts and our minds and his fun loving personality will always be remembered. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3838 Workman Mill Road Whittier. Visitation from 10:30 am to 11:45 am.
