Herb 'Herbie" Greenbaum, 84 years young, passed away on December 27, 2017 surrounded by his family.

He and his brother Paul were born to David and Lena Greenbaum both of whom were Polish immigrants. Herb was originally from Paterson, New Jersey where he was an All-State basketball player at Eastside High School and later a leading scorer at Upsala College in East Orange, New Jersey. An ROTC grad, Herb was an Air Force Lieutenant Navigator/Bombardier on a B-47 during the cold war.

After military service, Herb was employed for over 30 years in Marketing and Strategic Planning in TRW's Space and Defense Group where he relished in establishing relationships and working with colleagues.

An avid sports enthusiast and competitor, Herb was a bridge playing "Life Master'. He was perhaps best known as a proud and effusive fan of his children's sports pursuits. He also loved golf and trivia, and was a long time NY/SF Giants baseball fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Paul. He leaves behind his beautiful, doting and "Sainted" (Herb's words) wife Connie of 49 years and his son Dan & wife Silvia, son Mark & wife Josie, and daughter Romi & husband Glenn Smith. He is also survived by 7 loving grandchildren - Rylan, Luciana, Walker, Logan, Kayla, Beckett and Giovanna, to whom he leaves his legacy of always being a kid at heart.
