Reverend Jack E. Pike of Torrance went home to be with our Lord on July 21, 2012. He was born on February 5, 1940 to Ples Jewell & Euna Irene Pike in Danville, Arkansas. Jack was a revenue officer for the city of Torrance for 34 years. He also served as associate pastor for Fellowship of South Bay Church in Lomita. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Ken Pike. He is survived by his loving wife, Neno, children, Sheila Pike-Schilling, Kim (Greg) Van Fossan, Jack (Kim) Pike Jr.; brothers, R.F. Pike, Carroll (Ann) Pike; sister, Wanda Foster; sister-in-law, Janet Pike; grandchildren, Larry, Tiffany, Britney Schilling, Donovan Saucedo, Ashley Pike-McLachlan, Taylor, Hayley, and Noah Pike; great-granddaughters, Marley Elyse Smith and Allison Schilling. We as Jack's family are deeply grieving and our hearts are broken at losing this incredible man in our life, but we know because of our belief in Jesus Christ that we will see him again. We thank our family, church members and many friends for their wonderful support during Jack's illness. Visitation will be on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the A. M. Gamby Funeral Home, 25001 Narbonne Avenue, Lomita. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at The Bay Church, 24730 Narbonne Avenue, Lomita.
