1922 - 2010 Obituary Condolences
Jim passed away Friday, November 13. Born September 16, 1922 in San Diego. As a youngster, he grew up in San Pedro, where he graduated from San Pedro High School. Jim served in WWII in Tinian in the South Pacific. Starting in his 20s, he owned Torrance Camera for 38 years, serving Torrance area industries with photo equipment and photo needs. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club for 30 years. James leaves behind his loving wife, Marianne; sister, Mary L. Holden; nephews, Robert and Richard Holden and their wives; and many nieces and nephews throughout the area. Jim passed away Friday, November 13. Viewing will be Thursday, November 18 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the mortuary, with graveside services at 2:00 p.m. in Green Hills Memorial Park.
