This enabled him to continue to rise through the ranks of, and ultimately retire in 1994 as the structural steel inspector for the 2nd largest school district in the Country. He enjoyed a lifelong love of gardening, traveling and reading, and most of all spending time with his family. A love of history and construction led him to join the Masonic Order, and he maintained his membership at the LA Harbor Masonic Lodge for his entire life.
