She will be sorely missed especially by the great-grandchildren who can only hear the stories related to them by their parents. She will always be remembered for her great cooking. There was never a time when visitors would not be treated to a warm and delicious meal when they visited her home. Especially missed will be her Christmas tamales and her famous pozole. For the last 40 years, she attended either St. Philomena Church in Carson or St. Margaret Mary Church in Lomita. Her wish was to have her final Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Hermosa Beach. Her father Domingo helped build the first church and her family built the grotto for the new Parrish. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 21 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Hermosa Beach. Interment will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery, Redondo Beach.
