Leonard (Len) Hill

Leonard (Len) Hill passed away on February 4, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Len was born January 4, 1936 in Red Lake Falls, MN to Urho and Marion Hill. He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany. Upon his return he met and married the love of his life, Merna (Stallmo). They moved to California (South Bay) where he worked in construction for over 30 years before retiring to Sun City. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Angel baseball and coaching his sons youth baseball teams. He and Merna enjoyed traveling with frients to Hawail, Puerto Vallarta and Palm Springs. As a grandparent, he made sure to attend his granddaughters award ceremonies and softball games as well as traveling to Illinois to watch his grandson play sports. Len was active in senior activities such as golf and chair volleyball. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Joyce, Yvonne and Jeannie. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Merna, sons, Steve, Mark (Joy) and Don, grandchildren Courtney and Jake, brother, Arnold (Irene) and many family and friends.
