Lois Ann Radcliffe Obituary
Lois Ann (Newell) Radcliffe

April 2, 1931 - January 25, 2019

Lois was born in Zanesville, Ohio, where she met and married Ron and gave birth to their two daughters, Christy and Teena. The young family moved to the South Bay in 1963, when Ron accepted a job with Hughes Aircraft in El Segundo. They purchased their home in Torrance in 1963, where Lois lived out her life. Lois will be remembered for pouring herself whole-heartedly into all she did as Wife, Mom, Grandma and Community Leader. Lois was a Girl Scout Leader for 10 years, served as Jefferson School PTA President, served in numerous leadership roles at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd (perhaps best remembered for craft bazaars and Sunday School Superintendent) and in later years at First Lutheran. She lovingly served her community with the love she received through faith in Jesus. Lois worked as a noon aide at Jefferson Elementary and 15 years as a Pre School teacher at Good Shepherd. She is survived by her husband, Ronald; daughters, Christy (Marshall) Saville and Teena (Alfonso, Jr) Caluza; grandchildren, Brandon (Stacy), Annie (Jeff), Luke (Mary), Desiree, Aaron (Paige), Chad, and Grant; and great grandchildren, Nelly, Denver, and Levi. Memorial services will be held at First Lutheran Church in Torrance on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 am. Please sign the guestbook at www.dailybreeze.com/obits
