A Torrance resident for over 40 years passed, away peacefully on January 12, 2011. Louis was a beloved son, husband, father and grandfather. He was born in 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to the Los Angeles area at 15. He graduated from Loyola Law School and became one of the youngest appointed judges in the state's history served proudly as a judge for over 25 years. He continued practicing law for the remainder of his life. A devoted man, who loved God, Lou was also an historian of WW II and the Civil War. He also loved sports, the racetrack and went to many events with his family and friends, including , The World Series, the Olympics and NFL playoff games just to name a few. He also loved spending time with his friends. His real passion though was his family and was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was happily married to his pride and joy, Patricia Daraba, for 49 years. Lou also had two loving sons, Gregory and Stephen; two grandchildren, Justin and Tyler; and loving daughter-in-law, Arlene. Louis was a kind and good man and would always put others before himself. He will be sorely missed by all, those who knew him and those who did will have been better for it.
