Marjorie Ann Ehlers Obituary
Marjorie Ann Ehlers

Marjorie Ann Ehlers was born on December 21, 1930 in St. Paul, Minnesota. It was while attending college that she married the love of her life, Eugene Ehlers. After they moved their young family from Minnesota to San Pedro, CA, in 1959, many memorable summers were spent at the Abalone Shore Club and on group camping trips; later followed by the enjoyable years of family desert motorcycle riding and poolside sunning at The Golden Lantern in Desert Hot Springs. Lifelong relationships were forever forged from the Pilots Group of San Pedro United Methodist Church. Marge eventually became a long-term teacher and principal for St. Peter's Episcopal School. Her greatest passion was RV'ing throughout the mountains, deserts, and beaches of Western United States with her husband and, oftentimes, grandchildren. Marge was a source of kindness, strength, and wisdom to her family, as well as to her many friends and colleagues. Expressing her positive outlook with a smile on her face, Marge easily and gracefully chose to selflessly put others' needs first, with love and encouragement. Marge is survived by her husband of 62 years, Eugene Ehlers, who adored and devotedly took care of her throughout her final illness-challenged times, and her passing; and their three children, Debi (Rick Boler), Laurie (Dale Marks), and Brian Ehlers; along with their beloved grandchildren, Derek and Shannon Boler, Jeff and Walker Marks, and Jake and Laney Ehlers. She also leaves behind her siblings, Marion O'Brien, Darlene Bradt and Richard Steinke; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "P.E.O."- Chapter LQ (her philanthropic sisterhood) care of: Audrey Zwart, 2800 Baywater Av #3, San Pedro, CA, 90731. Memo: Marge Ehlers. Marjorie's family is requesting private services. Please sign the guest book
