Mark Wilson Ganoe Obituary
Our lives were forever changed on the morning of March 6, 2011 when the Lord took our beloved Mark home to rest. After a courageous battle with cancer, he passed away at home with his family by his side. Mark was a fine example of how life should be led with kindness, generosity and appreciation for the simple things in life. He thanked God every day for his beautiful life. Mark loved good food, traveling, trips to the casino, walking his dog, and spending time with friends and family. He loved all God's creations, especially animals, and his dog, Pepe. Mark touched the lives of many people with his big smile, kind heart, sense of humor, love for telling jokes, and sweet natured personality. Mark was a San Pedro merchant and owned Captain's Treasure Chest Jewelry shop along with his wife for over 20 years. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and always took pride in supporting small businesses and local events in San Pedro. Mark is survived by the girl of his dreams, Rosemarie; and his children, Erica (Lucas), Elena, Dan (Gayle), Matt, Marie (Jack); and granddaughter, Grace. Mark is also survived by his sisters, Tammi McMullen, Jill Moore; sister-in-law, Annmarie (Kevin) Kreager; brother-in-law, Tom (Barbara) Mancini; mother-in-law, Antoinette Mancini; and many nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, March 14, 2011, 10:30am at Mary Star of the Sea Church, followed by interment at Green Hills Memorial Park. Please sign the guestbook at www.dailybreeze.com/obits. You are welcomed to leave the family a message or share memories at mcnerneysmortuary.com. Visitation will be on Sunday, 3:00-7:00pm at:
