Marlene Lynn Beyo Obituary
Marlene Lynn Beyo

Marlene Lynn Beyo, 66, passed away peacefully June 2, 2015 at her home in Rancho Palos Verdes after a battle with cancer. Marlene, daughter of the late Ernest and Evelyn Sellfors, was born in Fariboult, MN on August 29, 1948. She later moved with her parents to Torrance, CA at the age of 10 where she attended school and eventually graduated from South High School in 1967. Throughout her life Marlene had many accomplishments, both personally and professionally, but none made her more proud than her two boys Sean (32) and Erick (36). When not working, Marlene could often be found relaxing at home or taking her boys to the beach or on other outings in or around the South Bay. She devoted much of her life to creating a warm and special home for her two sons as well as the numerous friends and guests she entertained throughout the years. A master in the kitchen, it was always a treat for friends to enjoy any of the amazing dishes she would prepare, especially her famous Swedish Meatballs! Marlene was a loving and devoted daughter, mother and friend to all fortunate enough to have known her. What made Marlene so special was her enduring compassion, generosity, and selflessness she carried with her everywhere she went. Marlene is survived by her two loving sons, Sean and Erick Beyo.

To celebrate the life of Marlene, there will be a gathering of friends and family at the home of her dear friends the Lawton's on July 11th. In lieu of flowers, Sean and Erick have asked for charitable donations to be made in Marlene's honor to www.fxckcancer.org, a foundation that she held high.
