Nicholas Kleinhen Obituary
In Loving Memory of
Nicholas Kleinhen

Our beloved Nick passed away on Thursday, July 16th. Words cannot describe the loss of such a special person at so young an age. Despite being taken from us so early, he touched so many of our lives in a positive way, making our world a better and more beautiful place. Nick was full of life, charisma and humor and we are committed to remembering his positive spirit.

Nick was born at Torrance Memorial Hospital on September 3, 1989. He attended Silver Spur Elementary and Palos Verdes Intermediate School and was an active participant in youth sports, including Palos Verdes Little League. Nick graduated from Palos Verdes High School in 2008, where he was an honor student and played varsity football and baseball.

Nick attended Villanova University, where he majored in International Relations, with minors in Business, Communication and Philosophy.

Nick is survived by his parents, Lisa and Tom; by his siblings, Chris and Katie; by his grandparents, Jo and Gar Kleinhen; by his aunt, Melissa Kleinhen; by his great-aunt Sally Linton and cousins, Anthony, Liz, Melissa and Blair Bishop; Gar Linton, Jennifer, Diana and Preston Bolton, Tom and Robin Linton. Nick is also survived by his Australian family, including his grandmother, Barbara Flynn; his uncles, Gary Cooper, Randall Cooper, and Udo Burkandt; his aunt and uncle, Debbie Cooper and Roddy Ellis; his cousins, Dan, Jo and Leo Burkandt, Stephen Cooper, Kayla Cooper, Dorian Cooper, and Liam Cooper; his great-aunt, Robin Andrews, and his cousins, Heidi, Nathan, Kade, Bailey and Nyah Gollan; and Jason, Julie, Sydnie, and Mackenzie Andrews; and Simon Andrews.

A celebration of life will be held at 4 pm on Friday, July 24th at St. Peter's by the Sea, 6410 Palos Verdes Drive South, RPV, CA 90275. An on-site reception will follow. As Nick would want, dress is casual. Private interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a memorial donation to the Salvation Army in memory of Nick.
