Ralph Boethling Obituary
Ralph and his beloved wife Laverne moved to the South Bay in 1953 from St. Paul, Minnesota. Once here, they quickly established themselves in the community. They raised their two children, Ralph II and Julie. Ralph worked for Wrather Corporation for over 25 years as their executive vice president before retiring in 1982. He received his MBA from USC. He was a Scout Master, an avid cyclist, golfer and friend. He volunteered at numerous events. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Laverne; son, Ralph; daughter and son-in- law, Julie and Lloyd Talbert; his five grandchildren, Dino Romero, Samantha Talbert, Ryan Talbert, Stephanie Traylor and Douglas Boethling; his two great-granddaughters, Frankie-Taylor and Dylan; and his much loved four legged friend, Mike. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him and loved him. A memorial service will be held January 7, 2012.
