Obituary Condolences

Ralph Murray Siegfreid

March 14, 1921 to April 26, 2013

Born in Trinidad, Colorado, Ralph joined the Marines in 1939 and trained to work on aircraft. Stationed in Hawaii, Ralph survived being wounded on December 7th, to help keep the planes in the air for Midway and the defense of Guadalcanal. Retiring after 20 years, he then spent 31 years in the aerospace industry, even working on projects for the Space Shuttle. Ralph will be missed by all of us who loved him: his children, Ralph Jr., Nancy and Mary; his grandchildren, Scott, Susan, Charles and Jon; his sisters, Edith and Donna; his second wife, Edith, and his step-children, Kirk, Daryl and Michelle. A Military Memorial Service will be held June 4th, at 10:45 a.m., at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. All are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the Semper Fi Fund. Please sign the guest book at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.
