Robert E. Kozakiewicz Obituary
Bob Kozakiewicz was born on March 29, 1944 in San Pedro, CA to Ed and Patricia Kozakiewicz. His father built a home in Lomita that the family moved into in 1951 and he spent the rest of his life in Lomita. He built 3 homes here but chose to live in the house his parents built. Bob was a journeyman plumber with Local 78 for over 43 years. He loved his job. Bob was known for his 'stories' and everyone who knew him heard more than one of them! He was a wonderful husband to his wife Barbara and was loved by many who considered him "Dad". He was a man of respect, kindness and courage. He lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, February 20, 2011. His wife and loved ones were at his side. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy and brothers, Chris and Rick. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Donna Flowers; granddaughter, Teresa (KC) Jolls, Norman Ok; great-grandsons, Gavin and Dillon Jolls, Norman, Ok; cousins, Janice Presley and Marilyn (Walt) Mead. His granddaughter and great-grandsons were the heart of his soul. Rest in peace my love.A memorial service will be held on March 12, 2011 at 2:00 in the Wayside Methodist Church in Lomita. A celebration of his life will be held at the Sons of Italy Hall, 1744 W. Carson St., Torrance. Please sign the guestbook at www.dailybreeze.com/obits
