Our beloved brother Ron Penque (57) a resident of Westminster, CO passed away unexpectedly due to an accidental fall in his home on November 27, 2016. He is resting in heaven now with our Lord God.

He was born on February 25, 1959 to Nicholas & Rosemarie Penque and raised in Torrance, CA.
He moved to Colorado 25 years ago and bought a house in Westminster, CO. He said the Rocky Mountains made it God's country. Ron attended North High School in Torrance and was a graduate of the Class of 1977. He also attended Long Beach State University where he earned his Bachelors degree in Finance and Business Management. Ron was a loving, caring, brother, uncle, great uncle and a friend to many.

He was a 50 year member of the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) yes since he was 7 (influenced by our Uncle Sam Cesari Jr who had won the NHRA Winter nationals twice)

Ron loved the drag races and anything to do with cars, Winter nationals vintage cars, and working as a Service Mgr in the Automotive Repair industry. Ron had a great sense of humor and loved The Three Stooges.

He is survived by his sister, Dawn (Kevin) Artinger of Rolling Hills Estates, CA; sister Sheree Penque of Arlington Heights, IL; and sister, Debra (Rob) Adams of Cape Cod, MA; two nieces and one nephew, Nicole (Matthew) Mazzella-Leuck of Chicago, IL; Christopher Mazzella of Cape Cod, MA; Amanda (Tyler) Meek of Jacksonville, FL; four great-nephews/nieces, Devin (7) Juliet (4) and Taylor Meek (2) of Jacksonville, FL, and Audrey Leuck (1 month) of Chicago, IL as well as many cousins including Kim Penque Flinn, and her children and grandchildren of Lake Wales, FL, Bob Greene (Robin) and their children of Panama City Beach, FL, whom Ron loved dearly. Ron was preceded in death by our parents, Nicholas (4/24/2016) and Rosemarie (9/9/2011) Penque.

Ron's ashes were spread at Upper Beaver Meadow National Park in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

We will also be having a memorial service & celebration of Ron's life in Redondo Beach, CA at the Alta Vista Community Center 715 Julia Avenue, (off Knob Hill) Redondo Beach, CA 90277, on Saturday, March 18, at 1:00pm where there will be a luncheon where we can all have a nice time sharing memories and remembering Ron.
