.Winston William Williams, the son of Faye Vance Smalley and William Oscar Williams was born on March 16, 1929 in Berkeley, California and passed away peacefully on April 11, 2012 in Tucson, Arizona due to COPD. Winston is survived by his wife, Dolores; their two children, Jenny (Keith) Stewart and Donald (PatiLynn) Williams of Moundridge Kansas and four grandchildren; Nikita (Taylor Kudera), Ashley (Chris Cooper), Brandy (fiance Zachary Cothard) and Evan Williams. Winston enjoyed sharing stories of his childhood years growing up in Davis, California with his sister, Joy Lorene Williams who predeceased him in June 1993. He relocated to San Pedro, California when he proudly enlisted in the Navy for the Korean War, where he met his wife, Dolores Jean Gill. Dolores and Winston were married on July 16, 1954 and enjoyed over 57 years together. They lived in San Pedro where they raised their children until they relocated to Tucson, Arizona in 2008. Winston was very proud of his career in the aerospace industry making parts for many historically significant crafts which included the Apollo 13, B-1 bomber, Space Shuttle and Stealth Fighter Jets. A graveside service was held Saturday, April 14 at Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gary Senise Foundation for Veterans Charity.
