Wylie "Glenn" Morrison was born on February 20, 1919 and leftthis earth to be with the Lord on September 18, 2011. Glenn was born in Humboldt, TN and moved with his family at the ageof 3 to the South Bay. He proudly served in the U.S. Navyduring WWII in Hawaii as an aircraft ordinance man. Glenn met the love of his life, Mildred Clayton and they were happily married for 54 years. Glenn was a charter member and elder ofthe Normandie Avenue Christian Church of Gardena. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, sister, Virginia and brothers, Houston and Carl. He is survived by his sister, Peggy Marshall of Downey; son, James (Lisa) of Hawthorne; and daughter, Linda Baillie of Lancaster. He was blessed with 4 granddaughters, Jamie (Carlos), Kiersten, Megan, Evyn; and grandson, Jason. He also leaves behind 3 great-grandchildren, Audrey, Elizabeth and Nicolas. A graveside service will be held at the interment site on Friday, September 23, at 11:00 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes. He will be greatly missed by all he leaves behind.
