Florence Louise Orr, 95, died on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010 at Cottonwood Healthcare Center in Woodland. Born at Fort Collins, Colo., on Dec. 2, 1914, to Burton and Jessie (Bond) Longyear where she grew up, attending area schools and graduating from Ft. Collins High School, class of 1932. A former resident of Arizona, Mrs. Orr was a member of the National Rifle Association, Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association, and the Phoenix Rod and Gun Club, and had resided in Woodland for the past year to be near family members, and is survived by her daughters Barbara Allison of Woodland, Kathryn L. Sims and husband Benjamin of Syracuse, Utah, and Carolyn Ann Clark and husband David of West Sacramento. She also leaves eight grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lyle Orr.
Services: Private family services to be held at a later date. Assisting the family with arrangements is Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland.
