Marilyn Sue (Lamphere) Buchanan SOMERS, N.Y.- Marilyn Sue (Lamphere) Buchanan 86, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, at The Paramount of Somers Manor in Somers, N.Y. Born in Kingston N.Y., on April 26, 1932; the daughter of Marjorie (Winchell) and Joseph Lamphere. She is survived by her sister, Gloria (David) Brink; children, Pamela Cummings, (Michael), Francis “Joey” (Evelyn) Buchanan, Patrick (Lisa) Buchanan, Tommy (Tina) Buchanan; eight grandchildren, Joseph Cinque, Courtney Cinque Giarro, Jason Buchanan, Siobhan Buchanan, Shane Buchanan, Zachery Buchanan, Michael Cummings, and Lauren Cummings; four geat-grandchildren, Ashley Cinque, Arianna Corlew, Michael and Sicilia Cummings; and several generations of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Buchanan on March 28, 1975, and her sister, Joann Lamphere Scharschu on Feb. 7, 2012. Memorial arrangements are under the guidance of Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home Inc. 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston. www.jv leahyfh.com A memorial service will be held at the funeral home Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at 11:30 a.m.
