He was the best! I remember him for his great sense of humor, his easy way of being with students, and his unusual approach to Latin. I took 4 years of Latin classes which were the most pleasant hours of my high school days and which resulted in excellent language skills for my entire life. thank you, Lloyd Loop, for bringing something bright and fun into high school experience.

Sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I enjoyed having him as a teacher in school and meeting him again as adult when he and your mother became friends with my parents. May you have many happy memories.

I took Latin 1,2,3 &4 with this wonderful man in the early 1960's. He always had such a wonderful sense of humor! I have lost touch with most people from those days, but I have never forgotten dear Mr. Loop and the good time we had in those classes. I hope he had a wonderful life! Dear Kirstin, Mead and Families,
What a sad day it is; to learn of the passing of your Dad. If I close my eyes I can hear his laughter ringing through the halls of the 100 wing of ole SHS, or see him at the grill "on the farm" there in Mt. Marion. He was a dear friend and respected fellow teacher. Together with your Mom and Bobbie Hildebrand we had some great times. My condolences to you both and you families.
God speed, Lloyd.
Till we all meet again,
Diane
