Wilson H. “Billy” Bolde, Jr. ACCORD- Wilson H. “Billy” Bolde, Jr., of Mettacahonts Rd., Accord, passed away peacefully while in the comforting presence of his family on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Dunlap, Tenn., on Jan. 8, 1947; a son of the late Wilson Bolde, Sr., and Pauline Harmon, and of the late DeLois (Ewton) Bolde. Billy was a truck driver who was also employed by various businesses including as a parts person for Ramsy Piano, American Auto, Car Life Transmission, and Clove Paving. He enjoyed car racing and shows, NASCAR, country music (Moonshine Runner), and western shows (soap operas) and wolves. Most of all he was always lending a helping hand to his family and friends. He is survived by his three children, Manny (Mary) Bolde of Lake Katrine, Sherri (Tony) Amato of Saugerties, and Linda (Garry) Hornbeck of Accord; siblings, Richard (Patricia) Brunnengrabor of North Carolina, Lannie (Sue) Bolde of Ulster Park, Marty (Carol) Bolde of South Carolina, Keith (Betty) Shutters of Tennessee, Glen (Darlene) Bolde of Florida, Marie (Vladimir) Jambrih of Eddyville, Lisa (Paul) Bomba of Eddyville, and Angel (Leroy) Blevins of Tennessee; grandchildren, Daysha and Christian Bolde, Natasha Bolde and Anthony Amato, and Crystal, Kimberly, and Gary Hornbeck, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Kamryn, and Peyton. Many nieces, nephews, and great others he considered family and friends also survive. He is predeceased by one brother, Sammy Shutters, and a stepsister, Donna Louise Bolde. The family will receive friends the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. The service will be begin 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, The Rev.
