Timothy Schussler WOODSTOCK- On Monday, April 29, 2019, Tim Schussler passed away at the age of 64 surrounded by his family. Anyone who knew Tim knew he was a true creator at heart. A carpenter and designer by trade, he could do anything with his hands. He appreciated the beauty in things and how they were built; adding his expertise to everything he touched. You could always find him in the kitchen trying out his latest recipe or somewhere in the yard working on his next project. There was never a day where he wasn’t creating in some way, shape or form. He is survived by his wife, Suki; his daughter, Adrienne and her fiance Victor; his mother, Marie; his brother, Gary; and sisters, Carol, Nancy, and their families; as well as many other relatives. Visiting hours will be held at Lasher Funeral Home on Friday, May 3, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 12 p.m. at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church in Woodstock, N.Y. A gathering will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Woodstock Fire Company #5 Rescue Squad.

I am heartbroken to read this. Tim and I were great buddies in High School and after graduation, we would bump into each other in town or at the old Hurley Ridge Market. Tim was a master at everything he created, and one of the best Mushroom foragers I ever knew. He loved his wife with all his heart. Suki, I am sending you so much love and light. May the memories you made with him come to lift you. RIP old buddy.....

Tim met my husband Paul when he was 17 years old at Salvucci's restaurant. Ever since this meeting, my husband became close friends with Tim. I liked Tim as soon as I was introduced to him. Tim came to our wedding and helped with renovations on our home. Most importantly, Tim was a dear friend for many years and attended many other family celebrations. We are very saddened by Tim's passing and will always cherish our memories of him. He was a good person with a big heart and a true artist. May you rest in peace, our friend. You will never be forgotten. Love Paul and Judy Traficanti

When I was 13 or so I moved to West Hurley and the first week I was there I ended up in a fist fight with Tim in the Schroeders apple orchard. Not sure what it was all about but the next day we shook hands and became friends. I ran cross country for a while in high school and Tim was one of the fastest on the team and had unbelievable endurance. I lost touch over the years moving to the west coast. Rest in peace, my friend. My condolences to his family.

I knew Tim ever since he was a little boy when his family moved in next door on Mosher Place in West Hurley, NY. Carol and I were best friends and I saw Timmy every day. He was the cutest kid with always a big smile.
I still picture him that way and always will.
I'm so sorry he was taken from all of you so soon. You are all in my thoughts and prayers
during such a difficult time of loss. May God bless you all.

We had a nice conversation with Tim at Aunt Marie's 90th birthday party and, of course, he invited us to visit him in Woodstock. It's hard to believe he is gone at such a young age. Our condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

So very sad to hear of Tim's passing. We were Tim's Mount Tremper neighbors for 20 years. He would often come over when we were outside to say hello and conversations would eventually turn to something awesome about his family. His love for Suki, his daughter and family was quite evident. Tim was proud of his family and he was very passionate about life. Tim was a great neighbor and will be missed. Dan, Coleen and Seth
