Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her world. She always wanted to protect them and make sure everyone was taken care of. Janice is also survived by her five daughters, Kim Conor of Maiden, N.C., Karen Backus of South Glens Falls (who was her care giver throughout her illness), Kristine Constable of Warrensburg, Kelly Stone of Selkirk and Karlie Monahan and her husband James of Queensbury. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Jaralyn, whom she raised like a daughter and her grandson, Kadyn, who was “the son she never had”. Janice is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Jamie Ference, Timothy McCasland, Jr., Jaralyn Muzio and her two sons, Brendin and Colton, Alyssa Rose (“her mini-me”) and her daughter, Cailee (“her best friend”), Jeana Pestillo, Mallery Hance, Kadyn Granger, Raymond Pappy and his son Payton, Brianna Mooneyhan and Nicolas Hall. Janice is also survived by many great-grandchildren and cousins. Private services will be held for Janice at the Ponckhockie Congregational Church, 93 Abruyn St, Kingston. Calling hours for family only will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017. A private Funeral Service will follow at 1p.m. at the church.
