Dr. Theodore P. Wright, Jr. was an enthusiastic researcher, brilliant lecturer, and academic of the highest order.  He was passionate about South Asian Studies. At Albany, he served as my mentor.   Most importantly, he was a good friend who always stood with me during some of the hardest periods of my life.

My condolences go out to Professor Wright's family.

Professor Wright was one of my favorite teachers. He was enthusiastic about comparative politics, especially the politics of India and Pakistan.

More important, he was patient with students who were learning about areas of the world for the first time.

I appreciate all that Professor Wright did to make me a well-informed citizen.

Dear Susan,
We have fond memories of Ted sitting in (or being) the audience at so many American Recorder Society events, always with a book. We are very sorry for your loss.
