Brian K. Heller

Brian K. Heller Ballston SpaBrian K. Heller, 53, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 3, 2013 from a long battle with liver disease. He was born on November 26 in Troy, NY to John and Theresa Heller. Brian was an extremely talented and well respected hair stylist known throughout the Capital District and owned salons for many years. He loved to travel and visited many wonderful places, Rome and Istanbul being two of his favorites. Family was the most important thing to Brian and he was extremely proud of his nieces and nephews, but would tell anyone that his most important accomplishment in life was his son, Corey. Brian lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment of it. He did more in his short 53 years than most have ever dreamed of doing. Brian's sense of charity and generosity were unmatched and he would give everything he had to those who needed. Brian will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Brian was predeceased by his parents, John and Theresa Heller. He is survived by his partner, David LaMar and his son, Corey Heller (Kayte Greene). He is also survived by his brother, John (Marie); his sisters, Kim and Deb; his brother, Jeff (Renee); his mother and father-in-law, Karen and Renald LaMar; his sister-in-law, Carol (Dave); brother-in-law, Steven (Susan); his ex-wife, Alicia; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Brian's life will be held at the Appel Inn Gathering Space, 590 Rte. 146, Altamont, NY on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 4 p.m.
