Jacqueline Anne Liggett

Jacqueline Anne Liggett, 41, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Niskayuna, Jacqueline was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School class of 1994 and Syracuse University, class of 1998. Jacqueline was fascinated by Japanese culture and enjoyed Asian art, cuisine and Anime. She was passionate about nutrition and was a hot sauce connoisseur. She was computer savvy and spent many hours researching various topics that sparked her interest. She was a fan of NBA basketball and was an avid reader, having enjoyed countless books throughout the years. Jacqueline enjoyed spending time at her family's camp on Sacandaga as well as the lower part of Cape Cod. Both places held a special place in her heart and were truly where she was happiest. Jacqueline is survived by her parents, John and Linda (Looman) Liggett of Scotia; her brother, John Liggett and his wife, Kim, and their daughter, Sophia Anne of Glenville; her paternal grandmother, Doris Liggett; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held privately amongst the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to The White Funeral Home, Scotia, NY.
