FRANK FALSARELLA Obituary

Frank V. Falsarella, 83, of State Route 20, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at his residence with his family by his side. Born December 27, 1927 in Venice, Italy, he was the son of Antonio and Luisa (Populin) Falsarella and came to the United States in February of 1938. Frank was a United States Army veteran, proudly serving from 1945 until his discharge in 1946. He resided in Paramus, NJ for 26 years before moving to Sharon Springs in 1978. While living in Sharon Springs he was a member of the Sharon Springs Volunteer Rescue Squad, the American Legion Post 1269 where he served as past commander, and the Sharon Springs Rotary Club, serving as past president. Above all, his family was his pride and joy, spending as much time as possible with his children and grandchildren. Frank was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church of Cobleskill. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Evelyn (Monton) Falsarella; his three children, Father Anthony J. Falsarella of Beacon, NY, Joseph F. Burial will follow with military honors at Slate Hill Cemetery, Sharon, NY.
