Elaine & Family & Wayne's Mom
Warren & I are deeply saddened to hear of Wayne's passing. If LOVE could have saved him he would still be with us. Life is so unpredictable and change always come along, sometimes in drastic ways. I have watched from afar as you & your family have walked arm and arm through this perilous journey, steady and strong. I remember as a School Nurse at Sand Creek Wayne returning to school with two girls fighting on the bus. He threw himself into the middle of that brawl unconcerned for himself. Wayne had courage and cared for all Gods creatures, even snearing, hair pulling, biting teenage girls! He was fearless.I was amazed by the constancy of his giving, the unselfishness of his heart and the reassurance of his smile. You his family are his most precious gift and his spirit lives on in you. May Memory bring you to places of comfort & peace.

To Diane, Elaine & the rest of the Dragon Family:
I know I can speak for the nurses on 5 McA and say that it was truly a pleasure caring for Wayne. Caring for him was never what I would call "work". It was always a smile, nice conversation, inspirational words or humor each time I would walk into the room. The Dragon family was always supportive, stood strong and in my eyes, defines what it means to be family. I hope you can all find comfort in each other and know he is still smiling and will continue to look over you all.

Upon reading of his passing I was (am) saddened by the thought of lossing such a wonderful family man. He was our sons scoutmaster and handed over the reigns to my husband when it was time for him to move on. The greatest memory I have is of him and Jeff coming to our house with his van full of food and gifts that he personally collected at sears for our family in our time of need. He never asked if we wanted him to do it he knew it needed to be done and therefor it was.Wayne was all about family and friends and that was true to be told at his loving benefit. You couldnt have asked for a better father husband or friend,Im sadden to think he is gone from this place we call earth but to know he is not suffering kinda eases the pain. To the family talk about him always for there is so much of him to share and lessons that he taught spred his kind words.Blessins to all of you.
