I did an internet search for Frank after being reminded of him and my time as a student at Armstrong School in the 1980’s. I used to visit the engineer’s room to deliver news of something amiss in a classroom of be lucky enough to be sent to clean the erasers. I remember bounding down the metal ramp that led to the sounds and smells of machines at work, and always hoped Frank would be there so I could say hello. He was kind and interested in us students. My mother became involved in the school and struck up a friendship with Frank as she lobbied for things he needed to better serve the school. I’m sorry for your family’s loss, and while this is 8 years since his passing, if you’re reading this I hope you know his memory lives on with the many memories of Armstrong students and families.
