I didn't get to know Isabel as she grew up. I remember her as a little girl so beautiful and so loving. She left this world way too soon. She was loved by so many and her greatest dream was to always dance. Rest in peace Isa

On Thursday, September 21st, heaven gained a beautiful angel, 1 of my grammar school friends lost her daughter, Isabel Lopez, to cancer. Her infectious smile lit up a room. She surely will be missed. Fly high Isa, you now can dance all day, everyday free of pain. When I grow up I want to be just like you... a fighter.. I love you!!! #Wedancewith is a #cancersucks

Words cannot express what want to say, one thing is for certain, I had the pleasure to meet this Angel. I know I did know you a long time, but the moment we met, you touched my life. I noticed your smile and you upbeat sprint. You did make an impact on so many folks Isa, like your parents and friends called you. I'm sorry. I know those words are inadequate, but I am truly sorry for what you're experiencing right now. Please let me know if there's anything you may need. Wishing you peace and strength during this difficult time. Love you all.

So sorry to hear. I taught Isabel when she was in 5th grade at St. Daniel's. What I remember about her is how hard she worked to overcome the challenges she faced with learning. I can only imagine that she confronted her illness with the same courage and strength. May God comfort you during this time.
