Linda Jean Davis Linda Jean Davis (nee Blaha), 52, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, from the Fairview Baptist Home in Downers Grove, where she had been living since November 2003. The daughter of E. W. "Finn" and Eleanor (nee Adcock) Blaha, Linda was born on Sept. 15, 1958, in Hammond, Ind. She graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Ill. in 1980, with a B.S. degree in American history and psychology. On June 30, 1979, Linda was married to her husband, Michael B. Davis. In 1980, they moved to Lisle, from Urbana and lived in Lombard, Ill. and Columbus, Ohio, before returning to Lisle in 1994. She was a wonderful mother dedicated to her children and all of their school and extracurricular activities. She loved to photograph everyone and everything, most notably with the Naperville North Marching Band. She has been deeply missed by her family and friends since her accident in July 2003. Linda is survived by her husband, Michael; mother, Eleanor Blaha of Wheaton; sister, Jennifer Blaha of Palos Park, Ill.; four children, Traci Lin (Christopher) Weilemann of Lisle, Brant Eli Davis of Chicago, Chelsea Ellen Davis of Naperville and Sean Michael Davis of Naperville; mother-in-law, Amelia "Dutchy" Davis; brother-in-law, Scott (Karen) Davis of Rockford, Ill.; sister-in-law Loralyn (Michael) Roberson of Richmond, Va.; five nephews, Tyler Blaha-Gruszka, Christian and Carter Davis, and Michael and Jacob Roberson; and cousins, Meghan Adcock (David) Maine of LaGrange, Ill. and Allison Adcock (Brice) McDowell of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her father, E.W. (Finn) Blaha; grandparents, Tracy and Ellen Adcock and Libbie Blaha; aunt and uncle, Robert and Penny Adcock; and father-in-law, Brant R. Davis. Visitation will be Sunday, May 22, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Services will begin Monday, May 23, at 10:30 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 300 East Gartner Road, Naperville.
