1921 - 2018 Obituary Condolences
Burl Forbes Nader, 97, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at Libertyville Manor. He was born May 14, 1921 in East Alton, IL and has been a Libertyville resident since 1950. He was a graduate of Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO and the University of Michigan Law School. Burl has been a Libertyville Attorney for many years and a member of the Lake County Bar Association. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving in the Pacific Theater during WWII, was past commander & Finance Officer for the Libertyville American Legion Post #329 and also a member of the Libertyville VFW Post #8741. Burl was an active member of the Gardeners of Central Lake County and served on the Board of Director's for Lakeside Cemetery Association. Surviving is his wife of 73 years, Jean Nader; daughter, Mary (Michael) Hoaglin; 4 sons, John Nader, David (Kathy) Nader, Peter (Ruth) Nader and Gregg (Patty) Nader; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, James Forbes Nader, grandson, Jeffery Nader and brother, George Nader. A visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by a service at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home Ltd., 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. Memorials can be made to the Libertyville American Legion Post #329.
