We knew Carol through her presence at the Friends of the Milton Township Cemetery Association. She was always helpful and kept things in order assisting the group to run well. We are sad to hear of her passing. She and Fred made a very special team.

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for giving me the opportunity of living in your family a whole schoolyear. I'll never forget what you did for me, to make me feel good at home.
Karen, Linda, Moyra and Todd : you were my American sisters and brother, you taught me the American way of life (which wasn't always easy for me...) and you accepted me as a member of your family (which wasn't always easy for you...). I'm sure Mom was very proud of you all !
Dad, it will be hard for you to go on without Mom, but she will watch over you and continue to guide you from up there. I'm sure of this.
Love, Dominique

Carol was my mom too. The Millers let me live with them for a year as an exchange student. They willing took in another teenage girl! What bravery and generosity. I will always be thankful for the love, support and understanding that Carol gave so freely, as well as the wonderful example she was in living a life of grace. Thanks Mom.

Dear Fred, What a great example you and Carol have been to all of us. I remember being at you home in Glen Ellyn for a ladies luncheon. I saw the shoe boxes of Bible studies that you and Carol had for prisoners. That was Holy work, near to the heart of Jesus. Carol did the ministry of 10 people. Our loss is Heaven's gain. I am glad that you are here at Windsor Park. Blessings to you and your family. Ruth Gibson

I know only one of Carol's daughter, Linda, but from that I know for sure she was a strong and wonderful person! All the light to her soul and to the family.
