1931 - 2019 Obituary Condolences Flowers
Elsie A. Stupar, age 87, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Radford Green in the Sedgebrook community in Lincolnshire. She was born on September 7, 1931, in North Chicago to Anton and Mary (Chamernick) Stupar. Elsie had a 42 year career in the accounting department with US Envelope/ Westvaco retiring in 1993. She was a parishioner of Mother of God Parish in Waukegan and was an active member of the KSKJ Society holding the role of treasurer for St. Anne's lodge for many years. She was also an active member of the Waukegan Tamburitzans and a familiar face at the Croation Hall in North Chicago on Friday nights making the best Fish and French Fries in town! Elsie is survived by her sister-in-law Joan Stupar and by many adoring and loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Anton Oblak, Joseph and Frank Stupar; 3 sisters, Antoinette (Oblak) Brzezinski, Mary Stupar and Olga (Robert) Zorc; and her loving cousin Kathy (John) Debevic. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elsie's memory to the , . Visitation will be from 4 to 7pm on Tuesday, January 15, at Gurnee Salata Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30am on Wednesday, January 16, at St. Joseph Parish, 121 E. Maple Ave, Libertyville, IL. Interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
