To the McNamara family, E-mail from friend read: Bob passed away. I share your sorrow. We all are sad. But Bob shines in fond memories I had when I worked at Singer/CCA. He always impressed me as one unforgetable Irish with uncanny witticism and humour.

To the McNamara Family, my sincerest simpathies at your loss.
I fondly remember Bob as great guy. I worked him at Singer/CCA between 1980-86 in engineer. I have come to greatly appreciate and miss his organization skills and common sense that he always exemplified at work. Sounds like he lead a full and productive life.
