1945 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
NAPERVILLE - Ronald D. "Ron" Provenzano, age 68, a resident of Chicago, IL, formerly of Naperville, IL, died Friday, December 13, 2013 at his home. He was born June 25, 1945 in Chicago. Ron is survived by his wife, Margaret (nee Melaniphy) Provenzano, two sons, Sam (Deborah) Provenzano and Nicholas (Sara) Provenzano, four grandchildren, Jack, Catherine, Anna and William, three siblings, Carmella Faroane, Robert (Donna) Provenzano and John (Judy) Provenzano. He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Marie (nee Aiello) Provenzano and a brother, Michael Provenzano. Ron grew up in Chicago and attended Illinois Benedictine College in Lisle, IL. He worked as a manager for 20 years with Jewel Food Stores in Countryside, IL before founding Zano Salons with his former wife, Denise. Ron was a former member of Cress Creek Country Club in Naperville and was a past president of the International Chain Salon Association. Ron's warm and caring disposition will be greatly missed but will live on through the hundreds of people that he coached and mentored throughout his life. Visitation Tuesday, December 17, 2 to 9 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville. Services will begin Wednesday, December 18, 10:30 AM and will proceed from the funeral home to SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church for an 11:00 AM Mass and Christian Burial. The church is located at 36 N. Ellsworth Street in Naperville. Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville.
