NAPERVILLE - William Case "Bill" Kohley, 84-years-old, lifetime resident of Naperville passed away peacefully at home on Friday Sept 14, 2018. He was born in Lawrence, Kansas on June 6, 1934 to his parents Lucille and Adam Kohley, Jr. Bill grew up on Adbeth Farm and attended St. Joan of Arc Grade School and Naperville High School. He served in the US Army from 1954-56 stationed in France. Bill was employed by Kroehler Furniture Company, Wm. C. Kohley Trucking, Hocker Oil Company, Harry W. Kuhn, Aurora Fast Freight, Boughton Material, and the Wolf Auto Group. During his employment, Bill was a member of the Teamster's Union of Northern IL. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Diann Kampmeyer Kohley of 35 years and the children of Carmen Kohley Pierce (deceased 2005), Keith Kohley of Naperville, Rene (George) Kreyling, Fountain Hills, AZ, Fern Kohley, Wheaton and Perry (Laura) Kohley, Bethel, CT. He loved spending time with his beautiful grandchildren Amanda Dennin, Jessica Sans, Ethan Kohley, Chris Kohley and Lilly Rose Kohley. Bill is also survived by his sisters, Ann (John) Spencer, Basalt, CO and Carol (Lee) Carson, Blue Ridge, GA. His brother John Kohley, (deceased 2011) and brother-in-Law, Jack (Pat) Kampmeyer, Unity, WI. Bill was a lifetime member of the Naperville VFW and the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America. He had a passion for his family, friends and vintage Chevrolets. Bill also enjoyed traveling, walking and reading. He will always be remembered for his tender heart and quick smile. We wish to acknowledge and thank the doctors and their staff for all of their care over the years. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Patrick's Residence, 1400 Brookdale Rd., Naperville, IL 60563 or Naperville Heritage Society, Agricultural Center, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville, IL 60540 or Century Walk Corporation, 34 West Chicago Avenue, Suite B, Naperville, IL 60540. Visitation Tuesday September 18th from 3:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 South Mill Street, Naperville, IL60540. Prayers will begin from the funeral home, Wednesday September 19th at 10:15 AM and process to SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth, Naperville, IL 60540 for an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville, IL.
