I am shocked and saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He and I were childhood friends who shared a love for Notre Dame football and our Irish heritage. Bill was a sincere, genuine friend who had a terrific sense of humor. I wish your family my deepest condolences and I am sorry for your loss. He will be missed dearly.

I'll miss Bill. Although I hadn't seen him in years, we were friends from way back in the day. Bill is a very nice and giving person. He valued his friendships. What sad news to learn! God Bless. -Mike Desmet
