Obituary Condolences

The world mourns the loss of the greatest papa to ever exist, William Richard Bruckman was born on March 9,1944 in Chester, Pennsylvania to William and Josephine (nee DeMarco) Bruckman. William passed away peacefully in his sleep, with a smirk on his face on April 6th, 2018 in Cape Coral, Florida. The 74 year-old Huntley resident, is remembered for all of his tremendous accomplishments in life through his service in the Air Force and career at United Airlines. He provided his family with the best life they could ever ask for. His loving and goofy personality will be greatly missed by everyone he knew. He was an avid gardener, successful fisherman, talented craftsman, and loved to play cards with his friends and family. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 48 years Gail Bruckman, two proud daughters Amy Bastas and Laura (John) Graziano. Four adoring grandchildren Marina Bastas, Angelo Bastas, Sam Graziano and Lily Graziano. Five siblings Hank Bruckman, Joe Bruckman, Larry (Patricia) Bruckman, MaryAnn Devine and Geraldine (Scott) Denton. Many wonderful nieces and nephews. Visitation at James A. O'Connor Funeral Home, 11603 E. Main St., Huntley, IL, Friday April 13th, 2018 from 5pm - 8pm. Additional visitation Saturday at 9am until services at 10am St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Gilberts, 18N377 Galligan Rd., Dundee, IL. Interment is private.
