I was principal of Ranch View School, and Mr. Crosby was simply one of my favorite veterans at our annual Veteran's Day ceremony. He was such a sweet man who seemed to love the ceremony we created for him. I left Ranch View to be principal at another school and always thought of him on Veteran's Day. I am so sorry for your loss, but glad I was able to know him for a few short years.

My earliest memory of Bing was when he visited us in Perham, MN. I was about 3 years old, and I remember how he entertained me with a ball point pen he had in the pen and pencil clip of his dress shirt. Although I have had little interaction with him since the Frank Thornber Co. was sold in the early 90s, I will always remember Bing as the kindest and gentlest of men.
