WALLACE W. "WALLY" MALMBORG Obituary
BARRINGTON - Wallace W. "Wally" Malmborg, 80, passed away on April 3rd from complications of Parkinson's disease. He is survived by his wife Marian Malmborg, children Jon (Bonnie) of Bowling Green, KY, Susan of Elburn, IL, Steve (Kathleen) of West Des Moines, IA and Elizabeth Malmborg of Geneva, IL. He is also survived by Marian's children Val (Bill Ducette) Gleason, Mark and Steve Swanson, 7 grandchildren, 5 stepgrandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was loved and will be missed by all. He was born in Mitchell, SD and grew up in Plano, Illinois. He was a fabulous entertainer, playing a variety of instruments and used his talent in the Entertainment Corps while enlisted in the Army. He sold real estate for over fifty years and loved spending his free time sailing and boating. He was preceded in death by his parents Marguerite and Harry Malmborg of Plano, his brothers Bill Malmborg and Jack Malmborg, his sister Maryann (McCoy) and his infant daughter Sara. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on May 2nd at the Village of Barrington Church, in Barrington with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and a church service at 2:00 p.m.
