Arthur Joseph Horvath of East Fallowfield Arthur Joseph Horvath 67, formerly of Central Islip, N.Y., died peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at the Coatesville VA Hospice Unit, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of the late Pamela Muir Horvath, who died in 1998. Art was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of the late Ignace and Ruth Zabinski Horvath. He had a life-long career as a printer, following in his father's footsteps. His interest in printing began at an early age when his mother gave him his first printing set. Art was a decorated Sargent in the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He is survived by; two brothers, Stephen and Vincent Horvath; nephews, Jonathan, Nicholas, Christopher and Andrew Horvath; and sisters-in-law, Patricia, Christine and Janet. He will be greatly missed by his dedicated friends Mary and Dave Pflueger, of East Fallowfield and by his cherished cat "Baby Girl". In addition to his wife and parents, Art was predeceased by his brother, David. Art's funeral service and interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, N.Y.
