Stephanie Williams Obituary

Stephanie Burtnett Williams, 50, born September 29, 1967, unexpectedly passed away in her West Chester home on June 1, 2018. She was tragically taken from us by an act of domestic violence. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Lockstone, her 10-year-old twins, Colton and Maddison Williams, whom she adored more than life itself, her siblings, Suzanne Madonna, Charles Burtnett, Christian Burtnett, and Stacey Lockstone. Her father, Dr. Charles Burtnett and step-father, Austin T. Lockstone preceded her in death. Stephanie received her degree in Early Childhood Development. She dedicated years educating and caring for disabled children. She later became an executive recruiter for the Xerox Corporation and worked there for many years. Stephanie spent the last 10 years owning and operating a daycare center out of her home. She loved her job and the children she cared for. Working from home allowed her to become the most extraordinary mother to her twins. She dedicated her time as co-leader for Maddison’s Girl Scout Troop. She was devoted to her children, family and friends. Stephanie loved crafting, camping, and being surrounded by loved ones. She was our family’s fearless leader, our biggest supporter and our greatest friend. Stephanie will be missed by the hearts of so many; her family has awarded her the title of Warrior Hero Angel. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 with her viewing from 9:00-11:00 am at SS. Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct. West Chester, PA 19382; followed by her Mass at 11am. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to the trust fund of Maddison and Colton. Checks can be made out to Colton and Maddison Williams and sent to BB&T Bank, c/o Jessica at 311 North 5 Points Rd., West Chester, PA 19382. Stephanie, was AMAZING! To this day I miss her forever and always. She definitely lives through her children they're minnie steph's! Through and through their laughs, their articulation for art, and life! And steph probably never knew how much I needed as a friend and what a great person, mother and friend she was but she was all that and more. Ditto...love Tiff

PS.. Steph I loved out time together talking about ANON and Gov. Politics. I miss you. I miss seeing you pull up with your puppy in the front seat and out dogs barking together. I miss seeing you with your coffee cup and hanging out laughing and hugging your kids good bye. And texting you is ok for chinese or pizza! I miss talking about girl power and girls and Unicorns! The obsession. I miss it all...every single crazy conversation about ROBLOx! and Ipads and Tablets. I miss you..They say God always has a reason but I am really..really having a hard time with this...
words can not explain how sad I am.

Ditto.
