Michael Neal Kilpatric

Michael Neal Kilpatric, formerly of West Chester Michael Neal Kilpatric, 65, of Hummelstown, Pa., passed away at his home on August 8, 2012, surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness. He was born in Chico, Calif., son of Katherine Irene Kilpatric and the late William Neal Kilpatric. Michael spent 10 years as vice president corporate and investor relations for AmerisourceBergen Corporation, and worked as a corporate communications professional for nearly 40 years. He held a masters in business administration from West Chester University, where he received the award for Outstanding Graduate. He was also a 1969 graduate of University of California, Davis. Michael was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 212 Cocoa Ave. Hershey, PA 17033; was a Vietnam Army veteran; a board member of the ALS Association of Philadelphia, and a former board member of the West Chester University College of Business and Public Affairs. Michael had a passion for mentoring and enjoyed helping others to find their career potential. He also loved the mountains and spending time with his family. Michael is survived by; his mother, Katherine Irene Kilpatric; wife, and the love of his life, Mary Ann (Turify) Kilpatric; daughter, Danielle (Kilpatric) Mariano; son, Mark Mariano, grandchildren, Will and Tess Mariano; brother, Dan Kilpatric; sister, Shawn Parratt; nephews, Dylan and Connor Kilpatric, and countless other friends and family. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, in his church, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. The family respectfully requests no flowers.
