Harold C. Long, formerly of Malvern and Paoli, PA Harold C. Long passed away at the Pottstown Memorial Hospital in PA on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the age of 78 after a short illness. Harold is predeceased by his parents Clarence, and Blanche Long, sister Shirley Davis, and son Christopher Long. Harold is survived by his son David Long. Harold was born in Paoli PA on December 23, 1938, and graduated from Conestoga High School in 1956. Harold worked for the United States Post office in Paoli, where he retired in 1992 after nearly 35 years of service. He also served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963. Prior to relocating to Pottstown, Harold lived in Malvern, PA and Shunk PA. Harold enjoyed fishing, classic automobiles, music, bingo, Wii bowling and gathering for family functions. He also enjoyed spending time in Luzerne County at Patterson Grove Campground prior to relocating from Malvern. Harold was a member of the Paoli United Methodist Church, and is a member of the Free and Accepted Masons of the Thomson Lodge No. 340 in Paoli, Pennsylvania. Harold will be remembered for his kind and soft spoken personality by his close relatives, and friends. Services will be held on September 30th, 2017 at 2:30 pm with a visitation from 1:30-2:30 pm at Mauger Givnish Funeral Home, 24 Monument Ave, Malvern PA, 19355. He will be interred at Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in West Chester PA. www.maugergivnish.com

My condolence's to Harold's son. I graduated from Conestoga High School with Harold he was a great classmate also we were in the same Sunday school/church together. May he rest in peace.
