John Murray Burrows was born December 28, 1952 to the late Mary Blissie and the late Floyd Martin in Collierville, Tennessee.
John grew up in Collierville where he also attended school. He later moved to North Memphis and then to Jackson, Tennessee where he had many loving caretakers that loved him deeply and cared for him.
John Murray Burrows passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in Jackson, Tennessee.
He leaves to mourn his death, two sisters, Keisha Watson Allen (Nicholas) and Sabrina Watson; a guardian, Auntie Rosie L. Burrows Williams, his mother's sister; Aunt Jimmie Hale and Aunt Emma Harris; Louisa Shipp; two uncles, William Rodgers and John Rubins (Gert); his favorite cousin Patrick Williams, who regularly stayed in contact with him; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and family members that loved him dearly.
