POQUOSON - Loretta Ann Insley, 75, a native of West Virginia & Poquoson resident for 50 years, entered eternity on Thursday, October 30, 2014 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Duerr, and aunt and uncle, Virgina & Leo Philips. She is survived by her loving husband, Sidney Lee Insley Sr.; daughter, Penny McDonald (Michael); son, Lee Insley (fiancé Nita); two grandsons, Jonathan and Ethan McDonald; and she was well loved by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Loretta was waitress before dedicating her life to the care of her grandsons. She enjoyed painting ceramics and baking pound cakes for her family and friends. She was member of Trinity United Methodist Church and participated in many activities for the church. The family will receive friends tonight, 7-8:30 PM, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson, and other times at Penny's home, 2 Far St., Poquoson. A Celebration of Loretta's life will be held Sunday, 2:00 PM, at Trinity United Methodist Church. Entombment will be Monday, 11:00 AM, at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton.
